Job Description
Do you want to leverage your skills and develop new ones? We offer you the opportunity to gain professional experience within our institution and collaborate with our various specialists. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the hospitalization of patients in a 65-bed clinic.
As head of clinic, you ensure quality medical services, both clinically, administratively, and organizationally. To do this, you demonstrate empathy and excellent communication skills.
In a small team, you provide holistic patient care by working interdisciplinarily with nursing staff, physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, occupational therapists, music therapists, and art therapists, as well as hotel, technical, and administrative sectors, pharmacy, and laboratory. You work on chronic medical conditions and promote therapeutic education through motivational interviews.
Working in a stimulating university environment within a multidisciplinary team, your leadership and ability to work autonomously and efficiently also lead you to support internal medicine doctors in developing their skills and actively participate in the undergraduate training of medical students.
You develop and participate in research projects linked to the Geneva medical academic environment and also contribute to the development of various institutional projects promoting care through personalized admission and access to digital resources of a large university hospital. You also benefit from collaboration between the three clinics of the high plateau.
Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent and recognized by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). You have or are in the process of obtaining the FMH specialty title in general internal medicine; priority will be given to holders of this FMH title.
Knowledge of the hospital environment is necessary.
Your excellent communication skills facilitate teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting and the connection with patients. You are dynamic, flexible, and committed to your work. Additionally, you have demonstrated strong adaptability.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
