Within our "Transport & Infrastructure" unit, we are looking for our team based in Lausanne, a:
Engineer – Electrical Engineering Equipment (Transport) 80-100%
In this role, you will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, spirit of innovation, and friendliness.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
Ensure the design, monitoring, and coordination of electromechanical installation studies within road and urban transport projects, from preliminary studies to construction monitoring, guaranteeing technical compliance, safety, and respect of deadlines.
- Studies and design:
- Carry out electrotechnical studies for preliminary and tender phases
- Define the needs of electrotechnical equipment and the technical specifications of the equipment
- Develop plans, diagrams, and technical documents for tenders
- Coordination and monitoring:
- Manage electrical lots (power supply, lighting distribution, ventilation, etc.)
- Ensure coordination and interfaces with other trades
- Monitor companies during the execution phase, control execution studies, check the quality and compliance of installations
- Provide reporting to the project manager, especially on progress, blocking points, deviations, and adjustment proposals
- Construction phase management:
- Monitor companies during the execution phase, control execution studies, check the quality and compliance of installations
- Participate in progress meetings and write minutes
- Supervise testing and commissioning of installations
- Ensure rigorous monitoring of schedules and budgets
- Quality, safety, environment:
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements and application of QSE procedures
- Contribute to continuous process improvement
Interventions on construction sites. Flexible hours with night work periods (site visits, testing, switching).
COULD IT BE YOU?
- Holder of an EPFL Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience in electrotechnical project studies (ideally in transport infrastructure)
- Knowledge of Swiss standards and regulations (ideally in the context of Swiss road transport regulations)
- Conscientious and responsible personality, able to meet deadlines and budgets
- Excellent initiative, willingness to collaborate and ready to take on new challenges
- Fluency in French and English
