The Bruggwiesen Retirement and Nursing Center in Effretikon offers a home to around 165 people in the third and fourth phases of life. We accompany and support the residents with respect for their individuality, life experience, and abilities. Our modern center and the external living group provide space for different forms of living and various specialized care and support services. In total, we employ around 270 staff members.

Training Manager Nursing 80% (a)

In this exciting job
- You are responsible for the entire recruitment process of nursing trainees and are committed to attracting motivated young talent.
- You implement the education regulations for HF nursing students, health professionals, as well as health and social assistants.
- You maintain contact with educational centers / teachers, OdA santé and the vocational and middle school office, as well as with other training managers in the region.
- You plan and coordinate the assignments of trainees throughout the entire retirement and nursing center and ensure competence-appropriate and high-quality training planning.
- You lead, promote, and coach the vocational trainers.
- You continuously accompany the trainees through regular, well-founded reflection and status discussions and specifically promote their individual development and learning progress.
- You represent the home at external committees, networks, and ERFAS and actively participate in professional exchanges.
- You engage in internal training projects, such as Future Day, parents' evening, or Health Professions Week.
- You are the contact person for internal and external stakeholders (vocational education, parents, students, teachers) and provide competent advice on all training matters.
- You work closely with the nursing management and the education staff member – together you form a strong team and represent the culture of the APZB.
What you bring with you
- Completed tertiary-level nursing education (HF, FH, DN II or equivalent recognized foreign diploma)
- Several years of professional experience in nursing as well as solid experience in training apprentices and students.
- Vocational pedagogical training SVEB Level 2
- German language skills in speaking and writing (Level C1 - B2)
- Empathetic and appreciative attitude
- High nursing expertise
- Sense of responsibility, decisiveness, and ability to work independently
- Assertiveness, conflict, criticism, and teamwork skills
- Organizational skills, flexibility, sense of collaboration
- Pedagogical skill and motivational ability
- Willingness for personal further education and training
