The Facility Services operation of the Bühl Foundation consists of the two sub-areas cleaning / laundry as well as caretaking. We are committed to ensuring that young people with learning disabilities achieve a good apprenticeship qualification in order to lead as independent a life as possible, integrate professionally and socially, and participate in society.
For the Facility Services operation, we are looking for a leadership personality as Operations Manager Facility Services from February 1, 2026, or by arrangement, who is independent, communicative, reliable, and enjoys taking on new challenges.
Operations Manager Facility Services 80%
You will take overall responsibility for the training operation Facility Services at the Bühl Foundation. In this leadership role, you are currently responsible for eleven employees – distributed across the two sub-areas caretaking and cleaning / laundry. In addition, you ensure that around twelve apprentices are optimally supported and challenged.
Your tasks
- Professional management of the operation in organizational, personnel, financial, and educational matters
- Ensuring the quality of services and customer service towards our clients
- Committed teamwork to ensure a balanced dual mission between service and training
- Design and implementation of operational and training concepts
- Support of employees in the educationally challenging daily work
- Collaboration with internal and external specialist offices and partner companies
- Continuous development of the operation in close cooperation with the department management.
- Assuming the role of the foundation's safety officer (SIBE)
Your qualifications
- Mandatory completed training (specialist) in one of the following fields: hospitality, housekeeping, caretaking, or similar
- Completion of a higher technical school in the field of Facility Services / Management HF (or an equivalent education / FH degree)
- Many years of professional experience as well as proven, several years of leadership experience in a managerial role
- Ideally a qualification as a vocational trainer or other experience in training or supervising apprentices
- You pursue an appreciative, respectful leadership style and feedback culture is a very familiar topic for you
- You have experience in leading and managing a change process (change management)
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Very good communication skills and high flexibility
- Joy and experience in working with young people with special needs
