In parallel, you take responsibility for maintenance and calibration tasks, ensure that equipment functions optimally, and carry out commissioning for smooth startups and compliance with standards. About the Role
Your tasks include, among others:
- Lead improvements to equipment, utilities, and buildings or contribute to them (energy efficiency, productivity, environmental compliance, maintenance).
- You take over the planning, execution, and documentation of maintenance and calibration activities, root cause analyses in case of deviations, as well as the technical support and coordination of internal and external technicians.
- Support and lead internal and external audits and ensure GMP and HSE compliance without critical findings.
- Lead or participate in projects to improve equipment, utilities, and systems (e.g., energy efficiency, productivity, compliance with environmental regulations, maintenance).
- Create, review, and approve drawings, lists, schedules, diagrams, layouts, calculations, and data sheets in the project.
- Cost-efficient technical solutions within your area of responsibility.
What you bring to the position:
- Five years of experience as an operations engineer in technical fields, preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Technical basic training, preferably with further education as a technician HF/FH.
- Project management skills as well as solid technical expertise.
- Knowledge in commissioning and qualification.
- You communicate complex technical content clearly and understandably – also to management and other departments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GxP/HSE and quality systems.
- Language skills: German and English.
