This fixed-term traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical insight into the Talent Acquisition function at Julius Baer, a leading global wealth manager headquartered in Zurich. Over the three-month period from 1 April to 30 June 2026, the selected candidate will work closely with experienced recruiters across various business areas to support active hiring initiatives while learning about strategic resourcing, employer branding, and candidate experience management.
The programme is designed for motivated individuals interested in human resources and organisational development, providing exposure to real-world recruitment challenges within a regulated financial environment. As an integral member of the Global Human Resources team, the trainee will contribute to key stages of the recruitment lifecycle while building foundational competencies in talent acquisition.
IHRE AUFGABEN

Candidate Sourcing Support: Assist in identifying potential candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases

Application Management: Help manage incoming applications via the applicant tracking system, ensuring timely acknowledgements and updates

Screening Assistance: Review CVs and application materials against preliminary criteria in collaboration with recruitment advisors

Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, managing calendars and communications professionally

Employer Branding Activities: Contribute to campus outreach preparation, careers page content suggestions

Data Maintenance: Ensure candidate records are complete, accurate, and compliant with data protection standards (including GDPR implications)

Process Improvement Suggestions: Share observations on how recruitment workflows could be enhanced during the placement
YOUR PROFILE

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in human sciences, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

Strong interest in Human Resources, particularly in recruitment, talent development, and organisational behaviour

Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in German (C1 level or higher) is highly desirable

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); previous experience with CRM or ATS platforms is beneficial but not required

High level of personal initiative, discretion when handling sensitive information, and ability to multitask effectively

Service-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills and punctuality in communication

Availability for full-time engagement throughout the entire period from 1 April to 30 June 2026
