As a Sales Representative (m/f/d) in Field Sales for our Vision Care team in Switzerland, you will independently manage the assigned customer groups (opticians) in the area around Zurich/Central Switzerland. The product range includes contact lenses and care products as well as the Alcon Dry Eye portfolio. The place of work is in the Home Office.
A typical workday in this role includes:
Managing and developing the existing customer base and customer relationships in the corresponding sales area of Central Switzerland
Independently planning visits within the guidelines and developing sales strategies to improve customer satisfaction and sales
Responsibility for achieving targets in the areas of visit frequency, sales (budget), market share, and distribution
Planning, conducting, and analyzing the success of product presentations, as well as training sessions and workshops with our customers
Documenting and maintaining customer data using the sales information system
WHAT YOU BRING TO ALCON:
Ideally experience in sales/field sales or in the optical sector
High willingness to travel within your region as well as a category B driving license
Good MS Office skills
Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form; Swiss German and/or French as well as Italian skills are an advantage
Professional and confident appearance, as well as strong communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, result-oriented approach, and "hands-on" mentality
