Head of Accounting

Are you a committed and responsible personality with several years of experience in financial accounting? Do you have a passion for construction machinery? Then we have just the right thing for you: We are looking for a member for our financial accounting-team at the headquarters in Langenthal
Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for the financial accounting of Avesco AG with a total of 8 employees
- Responsibility for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR
- Ensuring that Avesco AG meets all financial and legal requirements
- Responsibility for the design and further development of financial processes in SAP S/4 Hana including creditor workflow Tangro
- Responsibility for the internal control system (ICS)
- Ensuring national and international VAT declarations together with the team as well as supporting the departments in VAT matters
- Organizing the external audit (preliminary and final audit) by our auditing firm
- Preparing the tax return of Avesco AG
- Driving the digitization of the financial accounting processes of Avesco Switzerland as well as leading financial projects
- Supporting the Head of Group Accounting in international projects
- Deputizing for the CFO Avesco Switzerland
Your profile
- Business administration studies with a focus on controlling/business economics
- Several years of professional experience in auditing or fiduciary services
- Several years of experience as head of accounting is an advantage
- Good analytical skills and high resilience
- Networked and solution-oriented thinking as well as initiative and organizational skills
- Very good German and English skills
- Knowledge of SAP financial modules as well as generally good and up-to-date PC user skills (MS Office, especially Excel)
