Task

How you advance KPMG

• Advise our clients on the Swiss financial market together with the respective project teams on regulatory and financial market law issues as well as compliance topics, especially in the area of Cross-Border Financial Services and the distribution of financial instruments


• Be part of the Cross-Border Competence Center in Zurich and support our clients in complying with foreign regulations and ensuring cross-border compliance


• Coordinate local regulatory specialists in over 190 countries to create and continuously update country-specific risk analyses/cross-border manuals considering the current legal situation


• Monitor and analyze legislative changes in the respective jurisdictions and their impact on foreign financial intermediaries


• Draft and send newsletters on current topics and updates in the area of Cross-Border Financial Services


• Administer internal risk processes and fully support the client from onboarding to successful invoicing


• Support the team in market development campaigns and in offers

Why you are successful

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (university or university of applied sciences) in law, economics, or social sciences


• Initial professional experience in finance/banking is an advantage


• Strong interest in the financial market and regulatory topics, especially in the cross-border provision of financial services and distribution of financial instruments to clients domiciled abroad (Cross-Border Financial Services)


• You have organizational talent and keep an overview even in hectic situations


• Customer-oriented and motivated personality with assertiveness


• Openness to travel and flexibility regarding the place of work


• Excellent German skills and very good English skills, additional French or other languages are a plus
