The Cultural Office of the Canton of Thurgau is responsible for cantonal cultural promotion and cultural preservation (museums) and plays a central role in the canton in promoting and further developing cultural and museum offerings as well as in conveying cultural creation and cultural heritage. It is a contact point for cultural creators and cultural event organizers and manages the lottery fund.
As of January 5, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a
Your Tasks
- Processing applications to the lottery fund according to the cultural concept
- Writing proposals and statements for the department management and the government council
- Evaluation and controlling of applications and service agreements
- Collaboration in the implementation of the cultural concept and in projects of the Cultural Office
- Organization of cultural events of the Cultural Office or the canton
- Secretariat with minute-taking for commissions
- Willingness and availability for appointments in the evening and on weekends for event visits
Your Profile
- University or university of applied sciences degree or equivalent education and professional experience (humanities or social sciences)
- Experience in the cultural sector, preferably in cultural promotion
- Experience in project coordination
- Interest in the cultural life of the Canton of Thurgau
- Understanding of cultural policy issues and contexts
- Understanding of administrative processes
- Good written and oral expression skills in German
- Structured and proactive working style
