As Head of Maintenance, you bear overall responsibility for the maintenance of all production equipment and technical systems in a highly automated process manufacturing environment.
The goal of the role is to ensure high equipment availability, maximum safety, and an efficient and cost-optimized maintenance organization. You act as a strategic partner to management and lead maintenance both strategically and operationally.
This is what you can achieve
Strategic and operational leadership of the maintenance organization
Planning, controlling, and implementing maintenance and repair measures (preventive, corrective, and holistic maintenance concepts)
Development and implementation of maintenance strategies to increase equipment availability, productivity, and equipment lifespan
Technical and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of the maintenance team
Responsibility for budget planning, cost control, as well as spare parts and inventory strategy
Support for conversion, new construction, and investment projects
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements
Continuous improvement of maintenance processes as well as introduction of digital tools and key performance indicator systems
This is what you bring
Completed technical studies in engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable qualification
Several years of leadership and maintenance experience in a process or series production with high automation
Solid knowledge in automation, robotics, and industrial control systems
Experience with structured maintenance approaches, continuous improvement, and condition-based maintenance
Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary interfaces as well as managing technical investment projects
Analytical, structured, and implementation-strong working style with pronounced leadership skills
