Tasks
- Beratung bei der Buchung und Detailplanung von Veranstaltungen.
- Verkauf von Angeboten, Produkten und Dienstleistungen.
- Begrüßung und Betreuung der Gäste sowie Hausführungen.
Skills
- Ausbildung in Hotellerie/Gastronomie und relevante Berufserfahrung.
- Organisations- und Verkaufstalent sowie Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
- Sprachgewandtheit in Deutsch und Englisch, Französisch von Vorteil.

About the job
Kartause Ittingen is one of the leading seminar and cultural centers in Switzerland. Our guests have access to a hotel with 68 rooms, a restaurant and banquet area with around 1,000 seats, and over 20 seminar rooms with up to 450 seats. In a unique historical setting, we offer an incomparable framework for a variety of social events.
From June 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for an enthusiastic personality as
Advising customers and international guests on booking and organizing as well as detailed planning of seminars, congresses, conferences, weddings, family celebrations, corporate events, framework and outdoor programs
Sales of our offers, products, and services
Welcoming/caring for our guests on site as well as guided tours and visits
Active support of customer acquisition and sales activities
Inputs and content for newsletters and social media posts
You bring the following:
Training in hospitality/gastronomy and completion of industry-specific further education (hotel/tourism school or in marketing & sales)
Professional experience in hospitality/gastronomy with seminars and events of all kinds
Solid knowledge of MS Office and a current hotel reservation system
Fluency in German and English (spoken and written), French is an advantage
Organizational and sales talent, excellent communication skills
Good manners and enjoyment in guest contact
Accuracy, efficiency, and resilience even with a high workload
Empathy and teamwork skills
