The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants and about 3,100 students. The Dietikon school currently comprises six school units, which are easily accessible by public transport.
The Dietikon school embraces the idea of integration and takes innovative approaches. For an ISR setting, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a social pedagogue who supports and accompanies students with challenging behavior together with the teaching team.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a
- 10 weekly hours in a 5th grade class of the Stierenmatt day school
- Accompanying and supporting individual children with special needs and challenging social behavior in their school integration in the regular class
- Planning, implementation, and documentation of social training and social pedagogical support programs with individual children or groups in close cooperation with teachers, class assistants, and caregivers
- Supporting the teacher, crisis intervention, individual reflection work
- Participation in school status meetings
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with involved specialist offices
- Completed training in social pedagogy/social work (university of applied sciences, higher technical school)
- Experience in creating and implementing individual social pedagogical support plans
- Motivated, open, resilient personality with a touch of humor and flexibility
- Enjoyment in working with children and parents from different cultures
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Experience with children with challenging behavior is an advantage
- Helpful, open team
- Various support in the pedagogical team by teachers, class assistants, caregivers, the school social worker, and school management
- Good infrastructure
