About the job
Class and annual salary (including 13th month salary):
7 73'556.-- / 116'071.--
Tasks:
- assessment of the victim's needs to identify the necessary assistance services provided by federal law
- social counseling and support
- accompanying the victim through all stages of the criminal proceedings, informing them of their rights and duties
- initiating collaborations with specialist agencies and services to ensure appropriate long-term care, with the victim's consent
- answering the Swiss central number during office hours
- collaborating with the Delegate on specific projects to promote the service
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences in social work or equivalent qualification, or, if combined with experience in individual social care, a university degree in related fields such as sociology, psychology, educational sciences, pedagogy
- experience with minors and adults who have suffered crimes related to maltreatment, violence, sexual abuse is a preferred qualification
- knowledge of the legal and institutional context of victim assistance in Switzerland
- availability, reliability, cooperative and welcoming attitude, communication and mediation skills
- knowledge of services and authorities in Ticino
- organizational skills, goal-oriented and networked work
- willingness to pursue a CAS in the LAV field
- good knowledge of Italian and good oral and written comprehension of a second official language and English
- practical knowledge of main computer applications
- driver's license and willingness to work outside office hours

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment rate), flexible or according to service needs
