Work in harmony with nature: The Vocational Training Center for Nature and Nutrition (BBZN) is the competence center for the professions of horticulture, floristry, hotel management and housekeeping, dairy farming, and agriculture. At the three school locations Sursee, Schüpfheim, and Hohenrain, we train around 1,200 apprentices. In addition, we offer the vocational baccalaureate "Nature, Landscape and Food", higher vocational training, as well as household and agricultural consulting.

As an agricultural school, we promote healthy and sustainable nutrition at all levels. With us, you combine health, environment, and climate and shape future-proof nutrition systems from production to consumption.
Your tasks
- You convey your knowledge about nutrition, consumption, sustainability, and climate in a practical and target group-oriented manner in both school and extracurricular contexts.
- You plan and design teaching units, courses, workshops, and projects from basic education to adult education.
- You initiate, accompany, and develop educational and school projects related to sustainable nutrition and future-proof catering.
- You raise awareness among different target groups – from learners to teachers to agricultural professionals – for conscious and sustainable nutrition.
- You work closely with teachers, specialist offices, agricultural businesses, and external partners and bring nutrition and agriculture together meaningfully.
Your profile
- You have training in the field of nutrition (e.g., SVDE, nutritional sciences, dietetics, or comparable) as well as practical experience in consulting and project work in the subject area.
- Your knowledge of sustainable nutrition, climate issues, and environmental questions is well-founded, and you can convey this clearly and in a differentiated manner.
- With your enthusiasm for teaching, course management, and project work, you move confidently between educational work and consulting.
- You are interested in agriculture and production, have an understanding of agricultural realities, and provide impulses for a gradual, balanced development towards more plant-based nutrition.
- You are a communicative, committed, and team-oriented personality with a feel for different stakeholders and committees.
