Caretaking Department Facility Management (80%)
The caretaking in the facility management department ensures the smooth operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the properties. As a safety officer (SiBe), they are also responsible for implementing and monitoring safety regulations. They coordinate technical processes, supervise cleaning and maintenance work, and work closely with internal departments as well as external service providers.
Responsibility for caretaking, maintenance, and minor repairs in and on the building including maintenance and care of the property, furniture, and the company vehicle (8-seater for personnel and material transport).
Ensuring cleanliness and order in the residential units and common areas including creation, implementation, and monitoring of cleaning schedules.
Responsibility for the workshop and inventory, including overview, order, and management of tools, materials, and consumables.
Organization and accompaniment of client move-ins and move-outs, including preparation of living spaces and conducting transports with the company vehicle.
Purchasing, inventory management, and ordering for household, hygiene, and technical products including invoice verification as well as organization of waste disposal and recycling.
Co-responsibility for safety, order, and the fire alarm system (BMA) as well as taking on the role of safety officer (SIBE) including conducting internal briefings and safety instructions.
Support of the care team in daily life with asylum-seeking families, single men and women including counseling, accompaniment, and promotion of respectful and de-escalating interactions.
Regular participation in early, late, and weekend shifts in the area of housekeeping and care – availability 365 days a year according to the duty roster.
Maintaining cooperative collaboration with municipal and cantonal authorities, especially the real estate department of the Cantonal Social Office.
- Completed several years of relevant vocational training for the department (building services, electrical, sanitary, housekeeping management, or similar) or training in the social sector with a strong affinity for manual work
- Technical understanding and manual skills

- Willingness to work irregular hours and flexible deployment
- Teamwork, communication skills, and intercultural sensitivity
- Empathy, conflict sensitivity, and discreet handling of sensitive information
- Physical and mental resilience as well as assertiveness
- Very good German skills (at least B2) spoken and written; basic knowledge of English is an advantage; additional language skills welcome
- Basic IT skills (email, Excel, photo documentation)
- Patience as well as a positive demeanor and sense of humor
