Risk Analyst (all)

• Development and optimization of risk models and key figures taking into account new trading strategies and products
• Ensuring daily risk reporting and reviewing relevant key figures and limits
• Conducting ad-hoc risk analyses, including stress tests and sensitivity analyses
• Assessment of regulatory changes regarding risk potential
• Validation and plausibility checks of market data (prices, volatilities, correlations)
• Operational management of the risk committee
• Coordination of framework agreements with new and existing counterparties and risk-based adjustment of limits in consultation with the team (Credit Risk Management)
• Conducting the annual risk management process with management and executive board
• Coordination in the further development of internal controls and risk strategies

• Successfully completed university degree (Physics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics or a similar field) or comparable further education
• Several years of experience in risk management, ideally in the energy sector, trading or financial service providers
• Solid understanding of energy trading markets, products and risk categories (market, credit, liquidity risks)
• Confident handling of IT tools (EDM, Excel, VBA and SQL) and ideally knowledge of programming languages such as Python
• Experience in building and maintaining counterparties (EFET contracts) as well as monitoring their limits is an advantage
