Company Description
The Official Youth Foundation (FOJ) aims to promote the psycho-social development of children, adolescents, and young people in difficulty, in collaboration with parents and partner institutions. Bound by a service contract with the State of Geneva, the FOJ is committed to the protection and defense of the interests of the child.
Serving the families of the canton, it works through four main areas of action: child welfare , emergency reception , family support and preparation for autonomy .
To fulfill its mission, the institution manages more than 47 structures spread across the Canton of Geneva and has more than 500 places for minors and young adults and offers outpatient educational services at home. The FOJ is composed of 670 employees.
To successfully carry out its mission, the FOJ is looking for a Secretary 1 for its Point Rencontre space.
Job Description
- Ensure the administrative operation of the "Point Rencontre" system in liaison with other Foundation services and external organizations
- Manage correspondence (writing, sending, and receiving letters)
- Create beneficiary files
- Organize, classify, and archive documents in the computer system
- Update beneficiary movements in the dedicated tool
- Answer phone calls and direct callers
- Build and plan the schedules of the staff under the responsibility of management
- Manage replacements in coordination with management
- Collaborate with the Point Rencontre staff
- Provide logistical support related to premises management.
Start date: as soon as possible
Activity rate: 90%
Contract type: Permanent
Class: 10 according to the State of Geneva salary scale

Qualifications
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in the field is an asset
- Rigorous, organized, and flexible
- Ability to work independently and initiative
- Good writing skills in French
- Very good command of computer tools.
