Attached to the Medical and Quality Directorate of the HUG, the pharmacy's mission is to ensure a reliable and responsive supply of medicines from the pharmacy to the care units, anticipating market risks, to manufacture custom-made medicines in compliance with quality standards to improve safety of use, to offer expertise to healthcare professionals and patients to optimize medication management from prescription to administration, and to be a reference and competence center in training, teaching, and research, integrating innovative methods.
Job Description
As a group leader, you are responsible for managing the team of pharmacy assistants within the "Care Units Management" sub-unit (about 35 people). You ensure the coordination, organization, and smooth running of activities to guarantee the safety, quality, and efficiency of pharmaceutical services in the care units.
As part of your role, you must ensure the operational management of the sub-unit, mobilizing the necessary human and material resources for its proper functioning.
You must supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the pharmacy assistants, ensuring their professional development and the quality of their work.
You must plan activities and resources according to the needs of the care units and collaborate closely with other hospital services to guarantee optimal patient care.
Qualifications
You have solid knowledge of the role and missions of pharmacy assistants in care units.
You are recognized for your ability to unite a team, your listening skills, communication ease, and flexibility.
You have a keen sense of organization, a collaborative spirit, and good stress management.
You know how to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
You master computer tools and have an excellent knowledge of French, both spoken and written.
You hold the diploma of Swiss pharmacy preparer or an equivalent qualification with additional team management training.
You have at least 8 years of experience in the hospital field, with team management responsibilities.
