For our headquarters in Allschwil, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a customer-oriented, committed, and reliable person as Certified Biomedical Analyst HF or Laboratory Technician EFZ Biology 100%.

• You are responsible for independently performing molecular diagnostic test procedures according to GUMV under ISO15189 with a focus on medical genetics and molecular pathology and ensure that patients, medical practices, and hospitals receive precise laboratory results within a short time as a reliable basis for quick diagnosis and rapid therapy decisions.
• You actively participate in innovative projects, e.g., in the field of high-throughput sequencing.
• You are in daily contact with our interdisciplinary consultation team and our customers (medical practices, hospitals, and other medical institutions).
• Depending on your strengths and interests, you engage in projects, process optimization, the introduction of new methods and analyses, quality assurance, or take responsibility for equipment.
• Completed training as Certified Biomedical Analyst HF or as Biology Laboratory Technician EFZ
• Several years of professional experience in a molecular diagnostic laboratory
• Very good German skills, French skills are an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Flexibility and willingness to work regular weekend and on-call shifts
