Project Manager Climate Protection Projects in the DACHLI Region (m/f/d) 80-100% at the Zurich, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne or Vienna location
Your Tasks:
- You take over the management of projects – internally as well as with customers, partners, and authorities.
- You identify new climate protection projects in the DACHLI region and get them rolling.
- You ensure that regulatory requirements are met and are always up to date.
- You ensure that project documents comply with Swiss and international standards, are not only correct but also audit-proof.
- You conduct due diligence and risk analyses – with attention to detail and the big picture.
- You calculate CO₂ emissions and financial key figures and make complex data understandable.
- You lead mixed project teams and moderate workshops, meetings, and committees.
- You manage stakeholders professionally and ensure that decisions are documented and implemented.
- You are responsible for portfolio management including reporting, budget, and resource planning.
- You prepare project proposals and present your results convincingly.
Your Profile:
- You have a university degree (environmental/natural sciences, engineering, sustainability or economics) or equivalent experience.
- You bring several years of experience in project management with responsibility for scope, budget, quality, and deadlines and ideally have contact points with software development.
- You are familiar with CO₂ accounting and GHG protocols and are proficient in handling data.
- You are an Excel expert and learn new tools in no time.
- You understand the technical and physical basics of energy and emission calculations.
- You have experience with offer preparation, contracts, and portfolio strategies.
- You are familiar with net-zero standards (e.g., SBTi).
- You appear confident and can inspire others.
- You like to work independently but also in an international team.
- You work structured and precise and communicate clearly and solution-oriented.
- You speak fluent German and English.
