Job Description
Polymechanics manufacture and process components made of metal and plastic. They also assemble individual parts into assemblies, maintain devices, apparatus, and machines.
- 9 months LWB (Learning Workshop Basel)
- Deepening of basic knowledge in the conventional areas of turning, milling, drilling, and grinding as well as manual manufacturing and assembly techniques
- Deepening of mechanical production, milling, grinding, turning, drilling, assembly, repair, and service directly on the machines
- Support of the team during assemblies
- Mechanical processing and production of entire projects
- Hardening in the hardening furnace and their assembly
- Assistance with maintenance and repair work
- Programming, setting up, and operating machines
