Clarunis University Abdominal Center Basel is the joint competence center of Claraspital and University Hospital Basel for all patients who require treatment in the abdominal area. Clarunis combines the expertise, research activities, and the number of patients treated at both hospitals to further increase and improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment.

Technical Sterilization Assistant 60%
Your tasks are:
- Professional and proper acceptance of instruments for manual and/or machine cleaning and disinfection
- Carrying out the proper processing of medical products and flexible endoscopes according to legal guidelines, standards, and laws
- Execution/monitoring of drying procedures and storage care of endoscopes
- Checking instruments for cleanliness, care, and functional testing
- Proper operation of existing devices and machines including performing routine checks and, if necessary, reporting to the superior
- Optimization of the instrument cycle in consultation with the superior
- Contact person for medical technology and external technicians
- Working within hygiene guidelines
- Rotation within the processing units of Clarunis
You bring with you:
- Training as a technical sterilization assistant (specialist course I) or willingness to complete further training
- Desirable several years of professional experience in central sterilization or endoscopy
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Good IT user skills
- Willingness to make a committed and responsible contribution in a dynamic team
- High flexibility and openness to multiple locations
