As specialists in risk monitoring in the investment and pension business, we are responsible for the design, planning, and data-driven execution of controls to manage compliance and operational risks in the investment and pension business of Zürcher Kantonalbank.
A comprehensive control framework requires the active design of the setup and maintenance of internal controls (ICS) in Business Risk Management in a dynamic environment. In daily dialogue with the Business Risk managers, you are responsible as a subject matter expert for the professional and technical development, execution, and reporting of risk-oriented controls. In addition, you contribute to monitoring risks along the processes and support the department management in the annual Risk & Control Self Assessment.
Your tasks
- Responsible for and significantly shaping the control framework with a focus on investment and pension business
- Developing, executing, and reporting controls with a focus on the investment process
- Supporting the annual Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA), advising on risk analysis and mitigating control measures
- Documenting the control framework as well as the Risk & Control Self Assessment process
- Advising on process and control design in the investment and pension business
- Exchanging with various stakeholders, especially from sales, legal & compliance, internal audit, and process owners
Your profile
- University degree (Bachelor or Master)
- Several years of experience in the banking environment and in the area of non-financial risks or in a comparable function
- Experience in the investment business is an advantage
- Solid knowledge in risk identification, assessment, and management
- Interest in risk monitoring and regulatory topics
- High initiative as well as excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong communication skills and very good German language skills
