Ship Management / Head of Service (a)
80% - 100% Lucerne
We are looking for a Ship Manager / Head of Service (a) permanent
Here is what you will do
- Operational management of the restaurants on board a ship
- Responsible for a smooth daily operation in all service areas: a la carte service, culinary cruises, and special events
- Leading and developing the service and kitchen staff on the ship
- Responsible for consistently high quality and ensuring strict compliance with the safety and hygiene concept (HACCP)
- First point of contact and liaison for the nautical ship crew
- Performing daily accounting and responsible for inventory management including ordering and stocktaking
- Assisting in the development of various projects as well as in training & coaching employees
What we expect from you
- You have a degree from a hotel management school or equivalent training and already have leadership experience
- You are a motivated, resilient, and reliable personality
- You have a strong quality mindset and lead your team with great passion
- You enjoy a varied daily routine, are flexible, and think entrepreneurially
