About the job
As a Contract Management & Projects Specialist (Construction), you play a key role in securing the contractual performance of projects closely with the teams and on the ground. Reporting to the Operational Management of SPIE MTS, you collaborate with the PMO, project support, managers, project leaders, finance, and legal departments. This role offers growth opportunities for field profiles wishing to specialize in contract management and risk. Objective: anticipate, structure, and resolve contractual issues and project risks
Your main activities:
Contract management & risks
- Contribute to the success of projects, including on construction sites
- Secure the contractual basis from the tender stage
- Analyze contracts (SIA, FIDIC, etc.) and identify risks, obligations, and levers
- Implement proactive risk management
- Collaborate with the PMO and Management
Claims & negotiations
- Monitor, document, and defend claims (delays, costs, scope)
- Lead analyses and responses, including on-site
- Support project managers in negotiation strategy
- Participate in negotiations
Prevention & support
- Advise teams and anticipate sensitive situations
- Promote good contractual practices
- Ensure legal monitoring in Switzerland
- Collaborate with legal in case of disputes
- Contribute to key project reviews and make recommendations to management
- Proven experience in project or site management (construction, energy, infrastructure, etc.)
- Technical training in engineering, construction, or equivalent. Initial experience in construction contract management in Switzerland
(SIA, FIDIC, local standards) and knowledge of law would be an asset
- Excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills as well as strong negotiation abilities
- Strong solution orientation, eagerness to learn, entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrated ability to manage complex situations, especially with multiple stakeholders
- Strong interest in fieldwork and interaction with teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French. Knowledge of English or German is an asset
- Work location: Satigny (GE) or Bussigny (VD)
