The Statistical Office supports the Canton of Zurich on its path to a data-oriented administration. Together with our partners, we lay the foundation for modern, efficient, and collaborative data management.
From May 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking to strengthen our Data team with a Project Manager Data 80%–100%
Your task
- You are responsible for cross-directorate projects in the field of data management.
- You lead initiatives on behalf of the overall management SDV 25+, align them with the canton’s guidelines, and represent their vision and added value in cantonal steering committees.
- You promote open, networked collaboration and bring together different stakeholders to develop joint solutions with canton-wide impact.
- In cooperation with the Office of Informatics, you ensure a service-oriented and future-proof technical implementation with clear added value.
You bring
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, ideally in public administration
- Knowledge of the HERMES project management method; additional knowledge in Scrum or SAFe is an advantage
- Strong interest in the data environment and transformation topics; experience in Data Management or Governance is a plus
- Conceptual thinking, implementation strength, high team capability
- Very good communication skills with demanding stakeholder management
- Very good oral and written German skills
