Your Tasks
- Identification and recording of all relevant oncological cases of the assigned organ centers according to internal guidelines, DKG guidelines, and legal requirements
- Responsibility for the complete, correct, and timely documentation of basic data, diagnostic and therapy data, course and follow-up data in the tumor documentation software
- Ensuring data quality and data validity, including plausibility checks, data cleansing, and requesting missing information from the treating specialist disciplines
- Documentation and preparation of data within the framework of Highly Specialized Medicine (HSM), including case-related evidence, compliance with defined quality criteria, and timely data delivery to internal and external bodies
- Creation and maintenance of key figures, annual statistics, and key figure sheets
- Preparation of documents for DKG certifications and recertifications of the organ centers
- Active participation in internal and external audits (e.g., DKG, HSM), including data preparation, answering queries, and implementing improvement measures
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and the organ centers of the respective area of responsibility
- Participation in the further development of documentation processes, standards, and digital interfaces
Your Profile
Professional Qualifications
- Completed training as a certified nurse (HF/FH) or
- Alternatively, a scientific or medical-administrative education with very good medical basic knowledge as well as secure knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of oncological treatment processes as well as the requirements of DKG certifications and/or HSM documentation is an advantage
- Very good IT skills, especially MS Office, with very solid Excel application knowledge (e.g., evaluations, pivot tables, data reconciliations)
- Affinity for digital applications and data management; experience with tumor documentation software is an advantage
- Interest or experience in IT-related tasks, e.g., simple automations
- Structured data reconciliations
- Strong quality awareness as well as analytical, logical, and process-oriented thinking skills
- Very high accuracy and reliability when working with complex data
- Independent, structured, and self-reliant working style with high self-motivation
- High sensitivity in handling confidential patient data and strong sense of responsibility
- Teamwork skills as well as very good oral and written communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment
- Flair for quality management tasks, e.g.,
- Creation and maintenance of QM documents
- Participation in risk analyses and audit preparations
- Willingness for continuous further development of professional and digital skills
