The city of Dietikon is the fifth largest municipality in the canton of Zurich and at the same time a dynamic district capital in the Limmattal with around 28,000 inhabitants. Our colleague is leaving us, so we would like to fill her position anew.

To complement the co-management, we are looking for a

• Strategic development and operational management of the tax office
• Support and advice to the specialists responsible for assessment, real estate capital gains tax, and tax collection
• Participation in complex assessments and tax law issues
• Implementation of projects, especially in the areas of digitization, processes, and new legal provisions in tax law
• Representation of the city vis-à-vis the cantonal tax office and committees
• Ensuring a customer-oriented service offering
• Further development of the team and promotion of a modern, efficient way of working

• Several years of professional experience in taxation (assessment competence ZH)
• Completed commercial training with further education in taxation (SSK I, professional certificate IVM or equivalent)
• Leadership experience as head, deputy head, or team leader
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented thinking
• Confident in handling M365 and ideally the Abraxas tax applications
• Cooperative, strong leadership personality with a pronounced sense for people and clear decision-making ability
