Job Description
The HUG Innovation Center co-develops innovative digital solutions (web and mobile applications) to improve the practice of professionals and the experience of patients.
We are looking for a Business Analyst from the IT field, passionate about digital health, to strengthen our team. You are the interface between business needs (caregivers, doctors, researchers, patients) and technical solutions. You contribute to all stages of the digital product lifecycle — from analysis to deployment — playing a central role in designing innovative e-health applications (including Concerto and MonEspacePRO).
In this role, you are responsible for analyzing business needs and translating them into precise functional and technical specifications. You master the entire product lifecycle, from design to implementation, planning, documenting, and prioritizing requirements while respecting IT standards and the institutional framework. You write specifications and all necessary documentation in the appropriate tools, considering business expectations and the Center's context.
You work closely with developers and UX/UI experts in an agile approach to ensure the quality of deliverables. You support them in resolving difficulties and actively contribute to finding solutions. You propose digital and organizational improvements to optimize health processes while participating in project monitoring, including budget, reporting, and management, to ensure their visibility within the Center.
Your ability to adopt a solution-oriented attitude allows you to respond effectively to regular requests and unforeseen events. You are fully involved in team activities and convey a positive image of the Innovation Center through your behavior.
Joining this Center means integrating a stimulating environment dedicated to digital health innovation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (APPS & UX, cybersecurity, telemedicine, external partners), and contributing to high-impact projects for professionals and patients. You evolve in an agile, collaborative work culture focused on solutions.
Qualifications
You hold a higher education degree in computer science (engineering school, HES, or equivalent), have knowledge in project and IT architecture, and a keen interest in digital health.
Additional training in BA is an asset and allows you to easily handle its principles and methods such as SWOT analysis, PESTEL, activity diagrams, functional mapping, WBS, mind mapping, BPMN.
You master Jira and Confluence and know how to create stories, epics, and manage a development backlog to monitor and report.
You master writing clear and complete specifications. You have a synthetic and abstract thinking ability.
You know and can implement the tools necessary for analyzing, formalizing, and evaluating business needs.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
You have a strong interest in health innovation fields.
You have perfect oral and written French skills as well as good writing abilities. More broadly, you are curious to explore the latest technical and technological trends in BA, which you communicate effectively to development teams, innovation teams, and business teams. You demonstrate autonomy, precision, rigor, and deliver quality outputs. You communicate smoothly about the progress of your activities.
You have excellent organization, strong interpersonal skills, great listening ability, and good interpersonal conduct.
You can handle workloads or exceptional situations. You have composure and responsiveness to manage incidents as well as good stress resistance. Evolving in a continuously transforming environment, you show great adaptability to meet the challenges presented by the Innovation Center's current events.
Moreover, your good humor makes you an asset to join the Innovation Center team.
