As a Data Protection Advisor, you take on a responsible key role at BDO. You are an expert in all data protection matters, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support our central digitization and AI projects. In addition, you are part of the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) and take on further tasks in the area of Contracting & Compliance as Legal Counsel.

THIS IS WHAT YOU DRIVE
- You take responsibility for compliance with data protection at BDO and monitor the development of regulatory requirements. In doing so, you maintain the processing directory, respond to inquiries, conduct data protection impact assessments, negotiate data processing agreements (DPA), and keep our privacy policies up to date
- Within the framework of insurance management, you manage the cyber insurance
- You develop instructions, implement processes, and conduct internal training
- You are part of the digital transformation and closely collaborate especially with the IT, CISO, and HR departments to support our digitization and AI projects
- You are the central contact point for our contracting; you review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers, develop standard contracts, and take on further compliance tasks
- You support international projects within the BDO network
THIS IS HOW YOU SUCCEED
- You have a completed law degree and preferably additional training (e.g., lawyer, LLM, IAPP CIPP/E, AIGP)
- You have already gained several years of professional experience in the field of data protection
- With your technical understanding and IT affinity, you quickly build trusting relationships for cross-departmental collaboration
- You shine through excellent written and oral communication skills and are fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
- You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented and are also successful in a team&
