About the job
Workload: 100% | Place: Baden | Start date: flexibel, limited to 6 months
In this Internship you will work alongside experienced quantitative analysts in the day-to-day valuation business. After learning our processes and tools, you will rapidly support the team in producing valuations for battery and hybrid assets. You will also help improve and streamline the valuation workflow by contributing code, tests, and documentation to our Python-based valuation toolchain.
Tasks and responsibilities:
What you bring & who you are:
Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, energy science, quantitative finance).
Familiarity with optimization, time-series analysis, mixed-integer linear programming (MILP), stochastic modelling, or numerical methods.
About the team:
Axpo’s Batteries & Hybrids division develops standalone and co-located (hybrid) battery energy storage systems (BESS) across Europe and optimises battery assets in collaboration with other Axpo teams. The Optimisation team provides market scheduling algorithms for business case valuations and batteries in operation.
