Polymechanic as Quality Inspector

• Inspection of individual parts and assemblies, mainly made of metallic materials, using suitable hand measuring and testing tools as well as modern height gauges
• Planning and prioritizing inspection orders taking into account operational requirements from production
• Application of existing inspection plans as well as creation of inspection plans based on technical drawings for new parts
• Documentation and professional interpretation of inspection results
• Detection of deviations, initiation of error reports and clear handover to the involved departments
• Active participation in the continuous improvement process (CIP) with the opportunity to help design and implement optimizations
• Collaboration on cross-team quality topics such as quarantine storage, monitoring of measuring and testing equipment, and internal consulting

• Technical basic training in an industrial environment (e.g., polymechanic, production mechanic or comparable)
• Experience in inspecting individual parts and assemblies in a manufacturing company from the metal industry
• Confident reading and understanding of technical drawings
• Routine handling of hand measuring and testing tools as well as operation of height gauges
