Major in School Music with Lectureship (approx. 40%)
The profile Music and Movement/School Music is part of the Department of Music and unfolds its impact in interaction with the other musical profiles, in the interdisciplinary context of ZHdK, and in cooperation with the professional field.
Your tasks
You will participate in shaping and further developing the artistic-pedagogical content of the school music training programs in collaboration with the profile management. You will be responsible for the coordinating leadership of the major study programs Bachelor specialization in School Music (Jazz, Pop, and Classical) as well as Master School Music I and Master School Music II. You will be supported in your tasks by the management team, the lecturers, and the secretariat. As a member of the management team, you will bring current topics of musical education into discussion and actively shape topical and profile-forming events (Expert Days). For the students, you are an important contact person as the major leader.The leadership workload (30%) is complemented by teaching in the area of music didactics Bachelor (approx. 6%).

Besides your school practice, you are artistically active. You approach questions around school education and music learning with differentiated interest. You are familiar with the Swiss education system and have a sustainable professional network. You bring high motivation and flexibility for university-specific organizational tasks. A university didactic qualification or the willingness to acquire one completes your profile.
