The Transfusion Hematology Unit, attached to the Department of Medicine of the Geneva University Hospitals, includes one of the 11 regional blood transfusion services (SRTS) in Switzerland. The missions of the Transfusion Hematology Unit are to supply the canton of Geneva with blood products, collect cells for transplantation or cell therapy, and manage transfusion for patients requiring complex support.
Job Description
You ensure quality medical services, both clinically and administratively as well as organizationally. This activity can be recognized as ISFM hematology training.
Your organizational skills and ability to work efficiently allow you to ensure the application of internal rules and procedures while guaranteeing the quality of the medical services provided.
Your taste for human contact, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration enables you to contribute to the training of trainee doctors.
Qualifications
You hold the federal medical diploma or have training considered equivalent. If your diploma comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) and your diploma is registered in the Medical Professions Register (MedReg).
You have a team spirit and collaboration skills, are personable, and demonstrate availability.
Clinical experience within the Geneva hospital and/or outpatient network is desired.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
