Senior Engineer Cyber Security

Your Role

In this role, you will join ELCA Cloud Services and you will report to the manager of the Cyber Security Team, in the Platform department. You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and exploitation of cybersecurity tools, to support the project, both internally and for our clients, to report on security indicators, and to ensure the security operations on a day-to-day basis. 

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee compliance with the security requirement and to implement security tools to projects. This role requires a solid understanding of Linux operating systems, server technologies, and strong troubleshooting skills. You will be understanding the inner working of our clients’ specificities and apply ELCA Cloud Services’ best practices and processes to provide a stable, dynamic, and secure environment.

In the team, you will:

• Manage cybersecurity platforms and products, including technology monitoring, research, solution selection and integration, roadmap definition and management, and documentation maintenance.
• Continuously improve the detection and response capability.
• React and provide guidance in the event of a security incident.
• Support internal teams in implementing security controls in line with best practices.
• Participate in external security audits (ISAE-3000, ISO 27k).
• Use automation tools such as Puppet and Terraform to streamline security operations.

Your expertise covers:

• Competence in security technologies and solutions (SIEM, encryption and secret manager, MFA, HSM).
• Good knowledge of standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Network concepts and security (Firewall, Proxy, Load balancers, DNS/DHCP, VPNs).
• Monitoring and automation tools.
• Keeping yourself updated with security news.
• IaaS on AWS/Azure experience is a big plus.

You have an excellent command of spoken and written French and English. German is a plus.

The position is open in our Pully office.
