The Psychiatric Services Aargau (PDAG) are among the most modern and largest psychiatric institutions in Switzerland and have been a corporation owned by the Canton of Aargau since 2004. More than 1800 employees in four clinics at the Windisch location, at 16 external sites, as well as in numerous consultation and liaison service cooperations, are committed daily to the well-being of patients and thus ensure psychiatric care for the population of Aargau.
The hospital pharmacy, as a specialist center for the entire PDAG, ensures the demand-oriented procurement and supply of all inpatient departments at the Windisch location (around 500 beds) as well as the outpatient clinics, centers, and consultation hours of the PDAG with medicines, medical devices, protective equipment, disinfectants, drinking and tube feeding, and infusion solutions.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for you immediately as
Tasks
- Maintenance and updating of medicinal product master data in the merchandise management system
- Coordination of interface work between IT, nursing, medical staff, and hospital pharmacy to optimize processes
- Responsibility for the further development of the hospital pharmacy within the framework of digitization projects, especially the implementation of closed-loop procedures in the PDAG
- Ensuring a high-quality and economical supply of medicines in accordance with legal and operational requirements
- Processing inquiries about medicines and medical devices as well as validating orders outside the assortment
- Conducting ward inspections
- Support in updating the QM system with the aim of promoting treatment quality and patient safety from admission to discharge
Profile
- Federal diploma pharmacist or equivalent MEBEKO recognized foreign degree (ideally with cantonal professional practice permit)
- Very good MS Office skills, experience with master data maintenance, and knowledge of Business Central (BC) are an advantage
- Open to new things and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
- High social competence, resilience, and sense of responsibility
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
- Enthusiasm and initiative to actively shape and optimize the patient-oriented medication process in the "Closed Loop" project
