Reference: CLS/RH/2026.733 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible hours, telework possible) / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

As part of the development of our laboratories and to support our LIS IT Specialist, we are looking for a Laboratory IT Specialist to develop and configure the laboratory computer programs as well as participate in various IT projects of the department.

What will you be expected to do?

• Define the functional IT needs for the laboratories in collaboration with the Supervisory Committee and ensure the provision of appropriate tools for the different sectors
• Manage the laboratory IT systems (installation, configuration, maintenance, etc.)
• Participate in resolving IT/technical problems and maintaining ad hoc systems
• Monitor IT projects according to priorities
• Manage the process from analysis requests to the integration of results with prescribers
• Establish necessary IT procedures according to ISO 15189 standard
• Train, advise, assist, and support staff during installations, maintenance, or technical problems related to laboratory IT equipment
• Answer questions from doctors, patients, and staff regarding IT matters

What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Diploma as a biomedical analysis technician ES or equivalent
• Professional experience in laboratory IT
• Organizational skills, prioritization, and autonomy
• Problem-solving orientation and ability to maintain trusting relationships

Your assets:

• Professional experience in biomedical analysis laboratories
• Professional experience in configuring the LIS (Laboratory Information System)
• Additional IT training, good programming skills, and coding knowledge
• Knowledge of the Molis LIS and ISO 15189 standards
• Good project management skills
• Strong interest in IT fields: HL7 standards, BI (business intelligence), networks, statistics, etc.
