Manufacturing Excellence Lead - Rhine Valley (m/f/d)

• Member of the management team at the Muttenz site
• Leading local tactics for Continuous Improvement
• Responsible for the implementation of the Syngenta Production System at the sites in the Rhine Valley
• Building competencies and a Continuous Improvement community at the sites in the Rhine Valley
• Coaching practitioners and teams to develop their knowledge and skills in handling methods for Continuous Improvement
• Ambassador and advocate of Continuous Improvement within the Swiss Manufacturing Hub
• Maintaining the Target Operating Model for Continuous Improvement through succession planning and governance
• Responsible for content of local training on Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Excellence to ensure harmonization with global systems

Purpose of the Role

• Building and supporting the Continuous Improvement community at Syngenta production sites in the Rhine Valley
• Supporting and maintaining the implementation of the Syngenta Production System in collaboration with the Global Manufacturing Excellence Team
• Supporting and promoting initiatives to improve the efficiency of business processes

• Extensive experience in positions focused on Continuous Improvement
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to influence people and decisions
• Experience in indirect personnel management
• Implementation of projects in Continuous Improvement or similar project activities within a large organization, combined with the ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and monitor multiple simultaneous activities to meet ambitious schedules and influence teams for which they have no direct leadership responsibility
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent, Black Belt certification is an advantage
• Proven success in applying project and program management as well as Continuous Improvement methods
• Experience in change management and/or operations management
• Experience in chemical production is an advantage
• Strong ability to support, coach, and train others in implementing changes
• Fluent in German and English. Additional languages are an advantage
