About the job
We manage, network, and position Thun as a city of education, families, and sports with a high quality of life and make an important contribution to the integration and well-being of children, young people, and families. The Open Child and Youth Work (OKJA) Thun is part of the Family Specialist Office in the Office for Education and Sports of the City of Thun. The OKJA of the City of Thun supports and accompanies various leisure activities for children and young people and their reference persons and is a contact point for child and youth issues both within and outside the administration.
As part of the further development of the OKJA City of Thun, we are looking for a position starting May 1, 2026, or by agreement
Your tasks:
- Developing and implementing needs- and life-world-oriented offers for children and young people in collaboration with team colleagues in the Mitte area and the Aarequai location
- Needs-oriented, participatory, and sociocultural projects and offers
- Participation in OKJA-wide projects and initiatives for children, young people, and their reference persons
- Participation in the further development of the Open Child and Youth Work of the City of Thun
- Networking and cooperation, counseling, triage
You bring with you:
- Completed studies in Sociocultural Animation or Social Work FH
- High initiative and independent working style
- High social competence, openness, and willingness to communicate
- Professional knowledge in Open Child and Youth Work, participation, social space, needs, and life-world orientation
- Car driving license
