To further scale our strategic customer programs, we are looking for a leader who wants to manage large transformation programs, develop teams, and build long-term customer partnerships.
As Head of Engagement Management / Strategic Programs (m/f/d), you lead a team of experienced Engagement Managers responsible for the successful management of large engagements. You ensure that customer relationships remain stable in the long term, escalations are managed professionally, and our programs are run cleanly – technically, organizationally, and strategically.
Your role:
Management of large transformation programs
You ensure that complex programs are successfully implemented and create sustainable customer value - in doing so:
- you manage strategic programs for the introduction and scaling of PLM platforms
- work closely with customers to connect technology initiatives with measurable business value
- support teams in challenging program and stakeholder situations
- further develop long-term, strategic customer relationships
Leading a high-performance team
You lead a team of experienced Engagement Managers responsible for our largest and most strategically important customer programs - in doing so:
- you develop a high-performing organization focused on customer impact and delivery excellence
- coach Engagement Managers in dealing with complex enterprise environments
- establish scalable methods, frameworks, and standards for engagement management
Strategic role in the proposal phase
You play a central role in structuring large transformation programs already in the sales phase - in doing so:
- you develop structured proposal strategies for complex enterprise deals together with sales and presales
- ensure that proposals are economically viable, scalable, and transparently calculated
- support the structuring of large programs and commercial models
- work closely with sales, delivery, and commercial teams
Executive stakeholder management
As Engagement Management Lead, you regularly work with C-level and executive stakeholders on the customer side - in doing so:
- you represent the engagement perspective in steering boards
- analyze complex program situations and derive clear recommendations for action
- support teams in critical situations and escalations
Scaling engagement excellence
You develop the foundations for successful and scalable engagement structures - these include:
- governance and standards for strategic programs
- transparency about program status, risks, and opportunities
- further development of KPIs and performance metrics
Business performance & commercial transparency
You create transparency about the economic performance of your engagements - these include:
- forecasting and pipeline quality
- opportunity evaluation
- new order reporting
- further development of performance KPIs
- Leadership experience in engagement management, customer success, program management, or strategic accounts
- Experience managing complex enterprise customer relationships
- Experience in managing large transformation programs
- Solid understanding of PLM and digital engineering processes
- Very good knowledge of the Siemens PLM portfolio, especially Teamcenter
- Strong analytical skills in business cases, deal structuring, and proposal calculation
- The ability to clearly structure complex topics and communicate convincingly
- Fluent German and English skills
