The Technical Vocational School Zurich TBZ is a competence center for basic and continuing education in the fields of automotive technology, information technology, electrical/electronics, event technology, and optometry.

Your Tasks
As a specialist in school social work, you advise vocational school students on personal, social, and school-related challenges during their vocational education. You support the school team in recognizing psychosocial problems and initiating early interventions. Internally, you network with the existing support services, create connections between learning locations, and build a sustainable network with relevant counseling centers.
Your Profile
You are a committed individual with professional experience in school social work or counseling experience in the youth sector. You are interested in age-typical developmental tasks and associated aspects of mental health. With your solution-oriented systemic approach, you can mediate well between different concerns. You have an independent, structured, and reflective working style and look forward to helping shape the new support services at vocational schools. Knowledge in concept and project work is advantageous. Your communication skills, teamwork, and resilience benefit you both in dealing with various stakeholders and in managing crises. A formal requirement for application is a bachelor's degree in social work combined with further training in school social work (CAS) or a comparable field (CAS).
