Prevention Project Managers at the Addiction Medicine Service
The Excessive Gambling Center (CJE), attached to the Addiction Medicine Service, is looking for two prevention project managers in the school environment, at 40% and 50%, for a two-year fixed-term contract starting October 1, 2025.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.
The Excessive Gambling Center (CJE) is a specialized unit of the CHUV that addresses public health needs in prevention, treatment, training, and research on addictive behaviors related to gambling, video games, and problematic screen use. It operates throughout the canton of Vaud, especially in schools, in close collaboration with health professionals, authorities, partner organizations, and gaming venues.
Mission
- You lead prevention, awareness, and information workshops on gambling, video games, and problematic screen use for a wide audience (adolescents, teachers, supervisors, etc.)
- You work throughout the canton of Vaud, notably in schools, associations, or gaming venues
- You help promote preventive practices adapted to field needs and target audiences.
Profile
- You hold a university or HES Master’s degree in health or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least two years of professional experience in the health field
- You have proven experience in prevention and workshop facilitation with young and/or adult audiences
- You demonstrate a strong interest in addictions and risk behaviors
- You are well acquainted with the Vaud socio-health network
- You are comfortable speaking in public, dynamic, and adaptable
- You are mobile throughout the canton of Vaud and available according to school schedules
- You have excellent oral and written French skills.
