On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we work with great commitment, low-threshold and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counseling, mother and father counseling, addiction counseling, and school social work.
Clerk Administration Professional Guardianship
The professional guardianship administration is responsible for the administrative matters related to the management of civil law measures. The clerks work in tandems with the case-managing professional guardians. The background for managing the civil law measures are the relevant federal and cantonal laws and regulations. The interests of the clients are central in this work.
Your tasks
- Controlling and asserting claims from social and property insurances, supplementary benefits to pensions or economic social assistance
- Reporting to authorities in cooperation with the professional guardianship (especially the accounting part)
- Creating inventories and debt lists
- Telephone contacts or direct contacts with clients, third parties, institutions, and authorities
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Data processing and data management, address management
- Procurement and clarification of documents and information
- Bank transactions (income and asset management, posting of documents, standing orders, securities management) in addition to accounting
- Budget work for the clients
- Practical guidance of commercial apprentices EBA and EFZ
Your profile
- Commercial training EFZ
- Organizational talent, flexibility, and high willingness to perform, as well as readiness to take responsibility and withstand pressure situations
- Professional experience, preferably in the areas of social affairs, administration and insurance, as well as child and adult protection law
- Confident German, fluency in spoken and written language
- A flair for numbers, control tasks, and accounting
- Experience with IT systems (Office skills, preferably KLIB)
- Experience dealing with authorities and people in difficult life situations
- Teamwork, loyalty, discretion, and trustworthiness
- Willingness for continuous education and development
