What you will do here
- Support the RegioFlora office – the national advisory and coordination center for the preservation and promotion of regionally typical species and genetic diversity of wild plants – with a focus on the settlement area
- Close collaboration with actors in the green sector as well as building and coordinating a professional network
- Develop quality standards for plants in settlement areas together with stakeholders from the green sector (leading and organizing a working group) and regular consultation with the FOEN (client)
- Further develop and introduce the RegioFlora label for regional plant material
- Content development and maintenance of the website (settlement area section)
- Communication work and professional advice for establishing quality standards and the RegioFlora label
What you ideally bring
- University degree in biology, environmental sciences, landscape architecture, or comparable education
- Good knowledge of the flora of Switzerland, preferably with SBG certificate Field Botany 400 or 600
- Experience with floristic biodiversity in settlement areas with a high awareness of the demands of different stakeholders on the topic
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Independent working, teamwork skills, and understanding of various interest groups
- Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language
