Main missions:
The Internal Quality Controller is the primary guarantor of the conformity of raw materials, components, sub-assemblies delivered by suppliers and produced internally. He/She ensures that products strictly meet technical and regulatory requirements before their integration into the production process, storage, or further processing.
Missions and responsibilities:
Perform qualitative controls (visual, dimensional, functional) of goods upon receipt and in production, according to plans, control ranges, and specifications.
Verify the conformity of accompanying documents (delivery notes, material/treatment/painting certificates, dimensional control report, production tracking document, etc.).
Isolate and identify non-compliant products (quarantine).
Write non-conformity reports (NCR) and control reports.
Alert the relevant departments (Purchasing, Supply, Production, Supplier Quality) in case of major anomalies.
Record control results in the information system (ERP / quality management software).
Technical skills:
Mastery of quality control and sampling techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bill of materials.
Use of measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, scriber, etc.).
Knowledge of basic quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001 and EN ISO 9100).
Comfort with computer tools (Office Suite, ERP like ProConcept).
Soft skills:
Rigor and thoroughness: Ability to detect the slightest defects with precision.
Analytical sense and critical thinking: To quickly decide on the conformity of a batch.
Reactivity and organization: Ability to manage priorities to avoid blocking the production chain.
Good interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with different departments and suppliers.
Profile and Experience:
A technical training diploma in mechanical or electromechanical fields.
At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Controller in the industry.
Your mastery of all conventional measuring means.
Knowledge of the ProConcept ERP is a plus.
Proficiency in the Office suite is mandatory. Good knowledge of French (spoken and written).
Good command of English is essential.
