The Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry of the PDAG is a training center of category A recognized by the Swiss Institute for Medical Continuing and Advanced Education (SIWF). In forensic consultation and liaison psychiatry with care for the inmates of the Bostadel Correctional Facility in Menzingen ZG as well as, if possible, in the Windisch AG outpatient clinic, we are looking for you to start immediately or by arrangement as
Tasks
- You take over case management for measure patients under senior psychological supervision
- You conduct integrative psychotherapies (disorder- and offense-oriented, supportive) in individual and/or group settings
- You read the detailed files of your patients as a basis for therapy planning
- Internal quality assurance through case presentations at intervisions and external supervision
- You perform risk assessments during the course of therapy
- Another focus of your activity is interface work with the referring judicial authorities
- Main workplace is the Bostadel Correctional Facility; depending on deployment, also work at the forensic outpatient clinic on the Königsfelden clinic grounds in Windisch AG – with diverse challenges and learning opportunities
Profile
- University/Fachhochschule degree Master of Science in Psychology as well as a completed or advanced Swiss-recognized therapy training
- Experience in forensic psychiatry is desired
- At least one year of professional experience as a case-managing psychologist is also desired
- You are characterized by high social competence, good communication skills, flexibility, and resilience
- Proven ability for interdisciplinary collaboration
- You are interested in further developing yourself in forensic psychiatry and psychology
- Own car required (Bostadel Correctional Facility not accessible by public transport)
