Your responsibility

• Contribute to the development, maintenance and enhancement of advanced pricing models to support underwriting initiatives and product development using actuarial and data science techniques
• Support the development of pricing tools for testing purposes (e.g., in Excel / Python) and define specifications of pricing models for implementation in underwriting IT systems
• Create and deliver actuarial insights to underwriting as well as management as required
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to support business objectives and optimize pricing strategies
• Support the team's efforts in optimizing pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Your qualification

• Degree in a quantitative field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field requiring modeling, programming, or quantitative analysis)
• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with 2-5 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance pricing or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data management and data analytics being an advantage
• Strong communication skills and high customer orientation
• Good level of proficiency with tools like SAS, R, Python, SQL Server, MS Office VBA
• Fluent in English and German, proficiency in additional languages is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
