Marketing Translator 80% (f/m/d)

What awaits you with us:

• You are responsible for covering the entire linguistic spectrum, from translation to adaptation to transcreation of complex texts from German into French and, ideally, into Italian and/or English.
• You work closely with the French-speaking editorial team to jointly design the content strategy and ensure a consistent brand representation in French-speaking Switzerland.
• You also participate in technical cooperation with specialists from the Content and Communication departments, as well as other expert divisions, to coordinate the tone used in the content.
• You are responsible for quality assurance and technical proofreading of translations, adaptations, and transcriptions carried out by our external partner agencies during peak activity periods.
• Your ability to creatively rephrase marketing messages will anchor bexio’s identity in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino.
• The strategic use of AI tools and their integration into modern CAT work processes to produce high-quality texts are part of your daily routine.
• The proactive development and updating of the company-wide glossary to standardize technical language across all channels complete your profile.

What we require:

• You reside in Switzerland.
• You hold a degree (IUT/university) in translation, applied linguistics, or multilingual communication and have several years of experience in this field.
• As a native French speaker (French-speaking Switzerland, language A), you are able to produce stylistically impeccable and technically sound translations and transcriptions.
• You have excellent command of German (language B) as the main source language and solid knowledge of Italian and/or English.
• AI-assisted translation tools such as DeepL hold no secrets for you, and you are capable of professional post-editing of automatically generated texts.
• You have acquired methodological skills in terminology extraction and the drafting of rigorous glossaries and linguistic guides.
• Your high standards for quality and precision in validating complex technical and advertising content come naturally to you.
• You possess an autonomous and structured personality, which draws strength from interdisciplinary exchanges and feels comfortable in a modern technological environment.
