Tasks
- Creates and manages test cases/test scenarios and ensures that the requirements are adequately covered
- Participates in testing current and future products at various test levels
- Coordinates tests with other teams from the ART
- Executes test cases, records deviations, and manages defect management
- Evaluates and documents test results
- Close collaboration with developers
- Participates in clarifying professional, technical, and architectural requirements,
- Development of new or extension of existing test automation from frontend to backend,
- Adjustment/extension of releasing and deployment processes in development teams,
- Consulting on operation and monitoring of applications in production,
- Wide scope for activities promoting stability and robustness in the CI/CD chain
- Enabling the team for test automation (unit tests, TDD, ATDD, BDD)
Requirements
Must have:
- >6 years of practical experience as a test analyst/test manager/test engineer.
- > 5 years of Test-Driven Development
- Strong knowledge in test design and test automation
- Knowledge of methods for test case determination and creation
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Quick and good comprehension as well as high customer and quality orientation.
- Openness to new things, independence, and responsible action.
- Team player with many years of experience in Scrum/Kanban or comparable agile methods.
- Interest in exchange with product teams (business department employees, BizDevOps engineers, architects, and POs).
- Experience in end-to-end tests and coordination of professional acceptance tests.
- Very communicative, persuasive
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of: Spring, JUnit, Maven, Git, SQL as well as knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience with test automation tools (Jmeter, Eggplant, Tosca (ECT), Selenium, Postman, ReadyAPI)
- Experience with agile development methods (SAFe, at the team level SCRUM)
- Completed university degree in business administration, business informatics / computer science.
- Fluent German and English skills (at least language level C1).
- Several years of experience with JIRA, SolMan, Confluence, MS Teams, MIRO etc. as well as test tools such as SolMan Testsuite, Tricentis Tosca, and Xray-for-Jira.
- Resilient personality, technical knowledge, and networked thinking to understand overarching contexts
- Active and open to a direct feedback culture
